If I plan an event and I choose not to use Sodexo, can I use another caterer?

Use of outside caterers is restricted and must be approved by the University.

What if I can find another caterer cheaper?

Please call Alex Munoz at (915) 747-7455 and our staff will be happy to work out a menu and pricing that meets your budget.

Can I request items that are not offered in the Catering menu?

Yes, our menu consists of suggested items, but we are capable of meeting any special needs and/or requests.

How long in advance do I have to place an order?

Sodexo Catering Services requires at least a 42-hour notice in order to plan an event. However, depending on the type of service requested, we might be able to provide service with a one-day notice.

Are your menu items made fresh to order?

Yes, all of our products are made from scratch. We do not purchase frozen items to assure our clients with the freshest food possible.

If I am part of a Student Organization, do I have other Catering choices other than those provided in the Student Organization specified menu?

Yes, we offer this specific menu because Student Organizations often have limited budgets but upon request, we can provide our other menu or a customized menu.
